• Keep the conversation inside Qulo until you trust the person. Moving to another app early removes the safety tools you have here. • Be careful with anyone who pushes hard to switch to WhatsApp, Telegram or email within the first few messages. • Do not share your home address, workplace, daily routine, identity documents or financial details. • Watch for stories that never quite fit: a job abroad, a camera that never works, a reason they can never video call. • Search their photos. A reverse image search often reveals whether a picture belongs to someone else.

This is the single most common way people are hurt on dating apps. • Never send money, gift cards or cryptocurrency to someone you met online — no matter how convincing the emergency sounds. • Ignore investment advice, trading platforms and "guaranteed return" opportunities from matches. That is a scam pattern, not a coincidence. • Do not open links to payment pages, verification sites or "safety check" services that someone sends you. Qulo will never ask you to verify yourself on an external site. • Be careful with intimate photos. Once sent, they can be used to extort you. If that happens, do not pay — report it to us and to your local authorities.

• Meet in a public place the first few times, and stay in public. • Tell a friend or a family member where you are going, who you are meeting and when you expect to be back. Share your live location if you can. • Arrange your own transport there and back. Do not be picked up from home, and do not let someone take you somewhere you did not agree to. • Keep control of your drink and stay sober enough to make decisions. • Keep your phone charged. • If something feels wrong, leave. You do not owe anyone an explanation.

• Photos give away more than you think — house numbers, street signs, workplace badges, school uniforms, car plates. • Your username on other platforms can lead back to your full name. Consider using a different one here. • Be careful when someone asks a lot of specific questions about where you live, where you work, or how you spend your evenings. • Nothing in your profile or your questions should be information you would not want a stranger to hold.

• Block: removes the person from your matches immediately and stops contact in both directions. • Report: sends the profile or the conversation to us with the reason you choose. It is confidential. • Both are available on every profile and inside every conversation. Please report behaviour even when you have already blocked it. Blocking protects you; reporting protects the next person.

• If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. • If you have been assaulted, harassed, threatened or defrauded, report it to your local authorities — and then to us, so that we can act on the account. • Keep evidence: screenshots, usernames, message times, payment records.
